Message search returns both visible and hidden chats. “Only confirmed hidden” opens each result to verify Teams shows Unhide or hidden history; this can mark chats read and is slower.
Titles/previews scans the chat list. Message text collects Teams search results, including hidden-chat results Teams returns. Search does not open matching chats. Chats are opened only when applying an action or checking last messages.
Original dates are extracted from migrated message text. Removed history cannot be recovered.
Matching messages are grouped by chat. Actions apply once to each identified chat.
